This filly comes from one of the best running families in Australia with outstanding black type performers down the page.  When I inspected the filly I was taken by just how athletic she is.  She is a terrific athlete.  She is a very attractive filly which is typical of the progeny of Harry Angel. 

GENESTA 

Genesta has had one foal to race named Some People Callme being a Melbourne Metropolitan winner of three races.  Genesta is by Champion Sire Redoute’s Choice.

The second dam Line Honours is by the Champion Sire Hussonet and has four winners from five to race including the stakes placed Redoute’s Choice fillies Extra Olives and Regatta Rebel.  Extra Olives has produced the Group 3 and duel Listed winner Spicy Martini.

The third dam is the Champion mare Alinghi, Australian Champion filly in 2004/25 Season.  Alinghi is the sister to Slice Of Paradise, the dam of Beneteau

HARRY ANGEL (IRE)

Harry Angel (Ire) was the leading 3rd Season Sire in Australia in the 2024/25 Season and 7th on the General Sire’s Premiership.  He is represented by some outstanding gallopers here including Tom Kitten, Stretan Angel, War Machine, Angel Capital, Arkansaw Kid and Private Harry.  He has made a huge impression with his first three crops in Australia.

TRAINER

Kris Lees will train the filly from his Newcastle base but has a Gold Coast base and has regularly conducted successful raids up north including winning the Mode Stakes and Magic Millions Stayers Cup for Prime Thoroughbreds.  This gives him a lot of options and horses I have syndicated with Kris have won over 200 races.
