Patrick and Michelle Payne to Train
I was keen to purchase a So You Think filly and was thrilled to not only find this filly but to get her for the right price. She is typical of So You Think’s progeny. She is very athletic and a beautiful looking filly. I loved the way she walks and believe she will race as a 2yo and improve into her 3yo year. It would nice to think she could develop into a 1000 Guineas filly.
This filly has inherited her sire’s great looks. She has a great presence about her.
Princess Lowry (NZ)
Princess Lowry was a very smart three year old running 2nd in the Group 2 ARC Royal Stakes and third in the Group 2 ARC Eight Carat Classic. These are good races. Unfortunately she broke down in only her fifth race and was retired.
Her full sister Lowry won three races and was Group 3 placed third and was Group 2 placed fourth.
This is a very good running family with a number of ‘Black Type’ performers down the page including the Group 1 winner King Of Pain.
Princess Lowry is believed to be in foal to I Am Invincible.
So You Think
So You Think is one of the greats of the Australian turf with his performance as a sire emulating his racetrack performances which placed him in rare company.
So you Think sired 117 ‘Black Type’ performers with 12 Group 1 winners included. These included the Group 1 winning fillies and mares Nimalee, La Bella Diossa, Sopressa, Nakeeta Jane and You Whang.
So You Think is currently sitting in 11th position on The Australian Sires Premiership after finishing second in the previous two seasons.
As a broodmare sire he has moved from 143rd last season to 46th and will continue to go up the list. Ninja, the short priced favourite for the Magic Millions Guineas is out of a So You Think mare as was our good sprinter Whistlefield.
I have a So You filly named Critical Intent with Patrick and Michelle Payne we have a good opinion of.
Sadly, So You Think passed away recently and there will be very few more of his fillies available.
